What was the Lord’s reaction to Solomon’s building of the temple? 3. What was the status of Pharaoh’s daughter? Read I Kings 3:1, 7:8, 9:5 – 17, 9:24 and 11:1. What was the status of Pharaoh’s daughter relative to his other wives? Are any of the other wives mentioned anywhere other than I Kings 11? How large was the palace he built for the daughter of Pharaoh? What would she want in her palace? Do you think she ever got homesick for the royal lifestyle in Egypt? How old do you think she was when she came to Jerusalem? What would she be likely to bring along with her? What kind of food do you think she preferred? What kind of entertainment? What friends?
